Jake and Stephen are colleagues and offer a well-rounded and specialized approach to patient treatment based on their specialties, emphasizing in-depth analysis of bio-mechanical impairments and functional rehabilitation. Jake and Stephen have been certified in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and trained in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).  This training, in combination with additional professional and clinical education and personal fitness pursuits, have improved their capacity to identify and treat dysfunctional movement patterns and diminished neuromuscular control as they relate to an individual’s athletic performance and risk of injury. In addition, each are Direct Access Certified in Virginia, allowing them to see patients without a referral source and reducing the cost of multiple medical visits.
